fatsort software package provides utility for sorting FAT directory structures, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fatsort
fatsort is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fatsort package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fatsort *
You will get with fatsort package name, version, architecture and description in a table
